New website ‘in progress’ but may take some time! We’ll be featuring some fun contests and promotions – so do visit us and even better, ‘like’ us! Lots happening this week – new fall/winter shipment just in (gorgeous new bags, bracelets, gifts for girls and new Christmas trees and angels...), and my first Gift Show this weekend. I’m taking a booth at the Vancouver Gift Show at PNE and am in between car loads right now! I feel like I’m in some kind of comedy – stuff falling out of the car, off the dolly, hunky show service men having to help me, trying to hang angel on top rail by standing on rental table and nearly collapsing it... you get the picture. Back for more fun and games this afternoon – show starts Sunday so not in all-out panic mode yet. Give me 24 hours! Excited to show lovely new collection to potential new stores – wish me luck! Welcome, summer! It’s such gorgeous kayaking/biking weather that it’s rather hard to stay inside and get our new on-line shopping website ready for action, but we are getting closer! Our new website will have our latest collection of hand-made purses, necklaces, bangles, pillows, home decor and gorgeous gifts available for you to buy on-line – newly arrived from Kerstin Hillebrand in Bali – so we won’t be updating this version anymore. You can still reach the new website through www.creativedimensions.ca – once it’s up! We have some gorgeous new items in hot summer pink, aqua, lime green and can’t wait to share them with you.... everyone loved them at our recent Spring Open House in Vancouver... so please check in again in a few weeks and thank you so much for bearing with us!

Hello All - A big, warm welcome to our little website, hot off the press this week (end of May 2008)!
Have you been to Singapore? I lived there for 9 years, and during that time spent many happy hours admiring, selecting and buying gorgeous gifts for friends, family (and yes, myself) from a wonderful little store in Holland Village – called Creative Dimensions. They have only one retail store in the world – and that’s it. When friends visited, I’d bring them there, they’d gasp in wonder and go home with suitcases bulging with beautiful hand-made purses in mocha and hot-pink, fabulous cushion covers in lime-green, boxed napkin rings, sequinned boxes, key-rings, wallets, journals... it was quite the Aladdin’s Cave.
Now I live in Vancouver, and my personal gift supply of Creative Dimensions goodies has finally run out. I can hardly keep flying back to Singapore to shop, so decided there was only one thing for it: Creative Dimensions would have to come to Canada.
All the items are of the highest quality, carefully hand-made in Bali – I visited the European owner/designer there to see how and where they are made. It’s a bright, airy, comfortable room – at her house – filled with neat swathes of beautiful fabrics, boxes of beads and sequins and the relaxed chat of the Balinese ladies who sew there. Most of them have been with her for 10 years – since she started. This is the opposite extreme of mass production and for once it’s NOT made in China! And the difference shows in the finished products.
